User(s) receive the following message when trying to log in to MI Management System: System is busy. Please try again.
This is generally caused when a task has problems or does not finish due to an error (i.e. Pack Tables). To resolve this, a file needs to be deleted from the Management System directory (instructions below). After deleting this file, users will be able to log in to the system. After removing this file, it is highly recommended that your Management System Administrator run DTutil prior to users logging in to the system.
  1. Click on Start, Find or Search, Files or Folders
  2. In Named, type busy*.* .
  3. In Look In, choose the server drive (i.e. F:)
  4. Click Find.
  5. When it locates the file(s), choose any called busy_nologin.txt and delete it (right-click, delete) .
  6. Close Find .
  7. Users should now be able to log in .
