Error: Log file not open for writing when trying to update the Windows Rater

Reboot the computer and try the update again. If the error still appears:

  1. Click Start/Programs/MI-Assistant/Update/Configure MIRemote Modem Software
  2. Click on Options and then Setup
  3. Put a check in the Off selection under Logging, close the Miremote32 window and try the update again.
