- In My Computer or Explorer scroll to c:windowscommandcommand.com
- Right click the file & select Properties
- Select advanced
- Uncheck Run in DOS Mode box & check Suggest MS-DOS Mode if necessary
- Look for a check box that says Prevent MS-DOS Based Programs from Detecting Windows & uncheck that if you see it.
You may have to reset the programs that genuinely require dos but they are few and far between.
