How to set up a template for a miscellaneous application.
  1. Go into a Miscellaneous application.
  2. Click on Options.
  3. Click on Modify Prompt Templates. This will bring up the Template Editor.
  4. Highlight the type of app that a template is going to be designed for.
  5. Click on the Sort Code field on the right of the screen. Put in a line number (example: 0010). Sort codes tell the program which order to put these in and cannot be duplicated. Use increments of 10.
  6. In the prompt field, type in the questions/field names that should appear on the template.
  7. Arrow down, tab, or enter to create a new blank line and enter the sort code and prompt.
  8. Click on Close. The template will be used for all NEW applications of that type but will not change existing applications.

To set up/alter the template for an existing application:

  1. Go into the Miscellaneous Application.
  2. Click on Options.
  3. Click on Edit this Apps Prompts.
  4. Enter a Sort Code (example: 010).
  5. In the prompt field, type in the questions/field name.
  6. In the response field, type in the response to the prompt field.
